NCTE at MSU is the award-winning student affiliate of the National Council of Teachers of English. We are a professional organization that works diligently to support perservice and culturally conscience future English educators for all they’ll face in the modern classroom. We also plan campus wide events such as our annual Teacher Speaker Series and work closely with the Michigan Council of Teachers of English. Beyond that, we’re just a bunch of English advocates who like to talk about books, Twitter, social justice, youth outreach, and everything in between.

We meet every 2nd and 4th week of the month from 7:30-8:30pm in the English Department conference room in Wells Hall. Follow us on Twitter @SpartanEngEd for more information or send us an email at ncte.msu@gmail.com!
