Jennifer Mojica Santana (she/her/ella) is a doctoral student in the Department of English and is also pursuing graduate certificates in Chicano/Latino Studies and Journalism. She received her bachelor’s degree in English, with a concentration in Literature, from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus. Her research focuses on archipelagic and diasporic Puerto Rican art and activism. In particular, she looks at how music, visual, and performance art converge with moments of sociopolitical and colonial resistance led by womxn, cuir, trans, and feminist activists.
